How to create a CV like this

 

The profile

Start your CV with a bang, by heading it with a powerful CV profile which summarises your overall skill set and experience. The purpose of this short paragraph is to hold the attention of busy recruiters when they first open your CV.

To create a great first impression, try to pack this profile with your skills and experience that closely match the requirements of the jobs you are applying to.

 

Work experience

To show potential new employers what value you can bring to them, you need to provide detailed descriptions of your previous roles.

Head each role with an outline to describe who you worked for, and where you sat within the business. Then bullet point your responsibilities and achievements to show how you apply your skills to benefit your employers.

 

Education and qualifications

Add your qualifications near the bottom of your CV, if you are an experienced candidate – because recruiters will be more interested in your career experience. Any highly relevant should also be mentioned briefly in your CV profile.

How to create a CV like this

 

The personal statement

Lead your school leaver CV with a powerful CV personal statement to grab the attention of employers and sell your suitability to the jobs you are applying for. This section should be a short paragraph which summarises your, skills, qualifications, and any work experience you may have.

 

Education

As a junior candidate; recruiters will be eager to learn about your qualifications and educational achievements. Therefore this section should be the most detailed part of your CV, especially if you have no work experience. Use it to showcase the places you attended, qualifications, and achieved and any extra responsibilities you took on during school/college.

 

Work experience

If you have any work experience, such as part time jobs or volunteering, add them in well structured roles, to show of your workplace skills. Head roles with an intro to describe the employer and overall goal of the role; then list your responsibilities in concise bullet points for easy reading.

How to create a CV like this

 

The profile

The top of your CV should feature a prominent introductory profile, which provides recruiters with an overview of your offering as a candidate. It should give a brief description of your customer service skills and experience, without going into too much detail – as it is only intended to be an opener for the rest of the CV.

 

Work experience

Showcase your valuable customer service skills by writing well-structured descriptions of your previous roles. Give context to each role, by outlining the company and role purpose in the first line – then go on to describe your responsibilities in short bullet points, being sure to show your input and output.

Add some quantified key achievements at the bottom of each role, to prove your value to employers.

 

Education and qualifications

Add your most recent and relevant qualifications to the bottom of your CV, being sure to highlight any that are mandatory for the roles you are applying for.

Your role descriptions should be properly structured, to allow quick navigation by readers, and to highlight your most important talents.

Start each role with an intro line that summarises the company you worked for, and the overall goal of the accountancy role you undertook. Then bullet point your responsibilities to demonstrate how you apply your skills in the workplace to the benefit if employers

 

Education and qualifications

Qualifications are important in finance, so ensure that you list your vocational qualifications clearly in your education section – whilst mentioning the most important ones in your profile also.

How to create a CV like this

 

The profile

Lead your CV with a summary profile that is highly tailored to receptionist roles, so that you catch the attention of hiring managers as soon as your CV is opened. Keep this profile brief and high level – saving the detail for later in your CV.

 

Work experience

Showcase your talents by listing your previous roles in reverse chronological order (current to oldest) to provide recruiters with an insight into the benefits you deliver in receptionist roles. Start by outlining who you work(ed) for and where you sit within the organisation – then bullet point your responsibilities to show your contributions. Add some impressive achievements and back them up with numbers to show how valuable your work is.

 

Education and qualifications

Add your education towards the bottom of your CV to highlight any certifications that are crucial to your target jobs. You can also add school/college results, if they are important, and you have enough space.

How to create a CV like this

 

The profile

Head up your teacher CV with an eye-catching profile to reel recruiters in and make a big first impression. The short paragraph should give a summary of your teaching skills and the types of students you teach – and it should really sell you!

 

Work experience

List your previous teaching roles, with a focus on your most recent jobs – as these are what schools will be most interested in. Start each role with an intro line to quickly explain the institution you worked in, and type of classes you led. Then provide an easy reading experience by listing your responsibilities

 

Education and qualifications

Add your teaching qualifications and any mandatory prior qualifications to your education section at the bottom – but don’t forget to highlight important credentials (such as a PGCE) in your CV profile at the top, so they aren’t missed.

When writing your CV, lead with a powerful profile which catches recruiters’ eyes by reflecting the most important candidate requirements for the jobs you are targeting. Keep this paragraph short and the detail high-level to entice people to read further.

 

Work experience

Detail your work experience by writing well-structured descriptions that are easy-to-read and allow you to highlight your in-demand skills. Start with plenty of detail in recent jobs, working backwards towards older roles, which will only need short summaries.

 

Education and qualifications

Add your degree, A levels (and even GCSEs if you are a junior candidate) to your education section near the bottom of your CV. As an academic candidate, you will need to add more detail to this section of your CV than most people; showcasing modules, project work, papers etc.

Work experience

Prove your value by listing previous roles in reverse chronological order to showcase your experience and knowledge. List your responsibilities in bullet points to provide bite-size insights into the skills you apply in your role.

Results are hugely important in sales roles, so always add quantified achievements to roles, such as sales figures and revenue stats.
